Kind and fast service. Dolmas were fantastic, and the baklava were amazing, not too sweet or too oily and tasted amazingly fresh.

One of the best mediterranean places ever! The restaurant is hidden away in a plaza and the inside feels very vintage. Got sat down very quickly and they give you free lentil soup as a starter. It was super delicious and then we ordered our main: a combo plate with the lamb kebab and beef shawarma. Both the beef and lamb were super tender and flavorful, and the portion size was hugeee (me and my gf were completely stuffed). We also ordered the falafel which were super soft and crispy, best falafels i've ever had!

Wally's Cafe might be a hole-in-the-wall, but it's got some of the best Lebanese food around. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, and the moment you walk in, the intoxicating smell of fresh, Middle Eastern cuisine hits you right away. My wife and I went there with some friends tonight and ordered the chicken kebab plate, and it was spot-on--perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor (though I dug in before getting a good picture, there were originally two chicken skewers). The salad was excellent. The hummus was also a highlight--super tasty and smooth. If you're looking for great food in a relaxed spot, Wally's Cafe is definitely worth checking out.

Genuinely the best mediterranean food I've ever had, the super tall younger guy who served us was sooo kind and attentive too. We ordered the beef shawarma, lamb kabobs, falafel, and hummus. The meal also came with lentil soup and baklava at the end. The food was a massive portion, best falafel I've had in my life. Lamb kabobs was very good albeit a bit chewy. The beef shawarma was well seasoned and tender. Glad that they have a location in the bay as I'll definitely be back.

Found Wally's Cafe on a Yelp search and was not disappointed! Wally the Owner went above and beyond to assist me with my Lunch & Learn. I needed one Halal full course meal for a designer by 12 P.M. and Wally opened his restaurant early to prep the lunch and have ready for pick up by 10:30 A.M.! The Designer stated she was impressed and enjoyed every dish. Thank you Wally for making the whole design team happy with that one meal. Thank you for your customer service, patience with my questions and for educating me. ** the one designer has a special diet and I wanted to cater to her diet as opposed to getting a veggie plate/salad. So when the original catering service arrived to set the food, the designer seen her Halal lunch set and had a huge smile. That's what Foodie Life's about! That YELP LIFE! Ronnie and his staff were amazing! Upbeat personalities with an eagerness to help customers is what I'm talkin' about! My party of 2 stopped here for a quick dinner, and it hit the spot!! I'll never turn down a good Mediterranean/Greek/Middle Eastern meal, especially if gyro meat is involved! SFS knows this, lol!! The restaurant has a separate dining area, and the counter is convenient for to-go orders. We both ordered the Beef & Lamb Gyros Wrap, and we chose Onion Rings and Extra Crispy Fries to go with them. Most places shave the gyro meat thin, but here the cut is slightly thicker, and I'm not mad about it! We enjoyed the Lentil Soup, which had a really great flavor. It was not bland at all. The Gyro Wraps were perfect and very fresh. They accommodated my request to cut mine in half, as I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it since I ordered the O rings, too. We loved everything from start to finish. The complimentary Baklava was the ONLY way to end the meal. It had a slightly sweet crunch, and the perfect size, which is all we needed. Ronnie and I chatted for a bit, and he is at this location temporarily to help out. I told him to hurry home to Orange County and open up a Wally's!! I'll be regular, lol. You need to hit up Wally's Cafe if you want a classic Mediterranean meal with an excellent staff. I am a lifer!!

This remains a great, simple place for a excellent meal. The food, service and the total experience continues to be very good. I want to highlight the service and care as they do so very much to satisfy and stay on top of everything. They are kind, helpful, personable and very attentive. The ambiance is simple and basic, and that's just fine. Starting with the complimentary lentil soup it was very good, as always. Selecting the lamb Kabob plate was a good choice as the meat is tender, well cooked and comes on a flavorful bed of rice and a delicious salad, dressed perfectly. It comes with pita. There was enough to bring some home. I also had an excellent and fresh made lemonade with mint. Get it. Absolutely delicious. Ended up with a complimentary baklava, which hit the spot. So good. OK Wally's remains a go-to spot and never fails to satisfy. It's a great place for value and good food.

Wow. This place lives up to the hype! Came with my son's sports team and everyone enjoyed their food, including all the kids. On top of that, they easily accommodated our group of teens and adults (which is always much-appreciated by this 'team-mom'). Between my son and I, we had: Lentil Soup: despite the hot weather outside, we all really liked the soup! That's how good it was! Gyro Salad: the gyro was tasty, meaty, and the portion was just right! Garlic Chicken Wrap: my son had the wrap and it must've been good because I looked away briefly and it was gone by the time I turned back. LOL Baklava: OMG, the highlight of my meal. I typically am not a fan of restaurant versions (too sticky, too sweet), but this truly was "homemade" baklava - light flaky layers, with a great balance of everything else. I almost wanted to keep the whole platter to myself. Definitely coming back here the next time I'm in town.
